Shopper’s Drug Mart, a large drug store chain based in Canada, came up with a brilliant marketing activation event that rolled out successfully, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
By incorporating social media influencers, they were able to spread the word well beyond in-store promotions. The Instagram live event featured several influencers sharing their favorite beauty products that were available for purchase in their stores.
They created custom candy bags and used in stores as hand outs to promote the upcoming event. With two designs, one in English and one in French, they featured their Run for Women charity logo in addition to several beauty based phrases.
